Forum Terms

Effective October 1, 2026 · Version 2026-10-01

These terms apply to forum discussions, replies, and article comments. Please read them with the Community Guidelines, Terms of Use, and Privacy Policy.

Your posts and your responsibility

Forum posts, replies, and article comments express their authors’ views, not those of PUI Connect, its editors, or any affiliated institution. Members are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and consequences of their contributions. PUI Connect does not endorse, verify, or assume responsibility for user opinions or third-party content merely by hosting them.

Follow applicable law

You must comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including laws concerning threats, harassment, defamation, privacy, intellectual property, and unlawful discrimination. These rules do not authorize unlawful conduct or override rights and obligations imposed by law.

Respect people and protect information

Discuss ideas in good faith. Do not threaten, harass, impersonate, target people with hateful abuse, post knowingly false allegations, spam, advertise deceptively, distribute malware, or encourage illegal activity. Do not publish private contact details, student education records, confidential employment information, unpublished research, or other information you are not authorized to disclose. Distinguish evidence, opinion, and personal experience; cite sources where appropriate.

Rights in your contributions

Post only material you created or have permission or a lawful right to share. You retain your ownership rights and grant PUI Connect a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, display, format, and moderate your contributions as needed to operate the site. Public posts may be indexed, quoted, or copied by others; deleting a post cannot remove third-party copies.

Accounts and participation

Use your own account and an accurate, non-impersonating display name. Keep credentials private. Email verification is required before posting. You must be legally able to agree to these terms; if you cannot, do not post. You may not evade restrictions through additional accounts or automated posting.

Moderation, reporting, and copyright

PUI Connect may review, restrict, hide, remove, or lock content and suspend participation for violations, safety, legal compliance, or site operation. Moderation is not continuous and does not guarantee detection of every problem. Use Report on a post or contact us with a link and details to request review, report infringement, or appeal a decision. Repeated infringement or abuse may result in account restrictions. For an immediate danger, contact appropriate emergency services.

No professional advice or guarantees

Discussions are for general information, not legal, medical, financial, employment, or other professional advice. Evaluate claims independently. The forum is provided as available without warranties of accuracy, availability, or suitability to the extent permitted by law.

Limits of responsibility

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PUI Connect disclaims liability for user-generated content and for losses arising from reliance on forum discussions, and excludes liability for indirect or consequential damages from forum use. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, waives nonwaivable rights, or excuses PUI Connect from its own legal obligations.

Acceptance, privacy, and changes

Before posting or editing, you must affirmatively accept the current Forum Terms and Community Guidelines. We record your account, the terms version, and acceptance time; posts retain their own timestamps. We do not treat silence or continued browsing as acceptance. Material revisions require renewed acceptance before posting. Read the site Privacy Policy for information about personal data.

Contact and review

For reports, copyright concerns, or questions about a moderation decision, contact PUI Connect with the content URL and supporting details. Do not post sensitive evidence publicly.
